Sorry for bringing this old topic back from the death, but did someone get the cpu-temperature to work? I'm trying now, but it gives me errors about a plug in not found.
that's because you need to download the plug-in - it doesn't come with the skin.
i've just spent 15 mins googling for the plugin, but no joy...you'll have to find it yourself, sorry
i think he wants MBM5...or i may be wrong, i'm tired.
one thing i did find though, new rainmeter release candidate version released in last couple of days...i may check it out tomorrow - going to bed real soon...

it's this skin I want to use:
taboo_Vision Rainmeter skin by ~jamien-price on deviantART
the plugin is in a seperate folder in the zip file, and it uses the coretemp.dll which is in the folder. When I enable the cpu temp ini, it says that it can't find the plugin, while I put the plugin in every folder in the installed location, just to make sure it can find the plugin.
Coretemp as a standalone runs just fine, but why it won't work with rainmeter is beyond me.
So, if anyone got it to work, I would love to hear how you did it.
Many thanks for the help so far guys!
[edit]
additional information
I just opened the .ini file and this was in it:
[mCPU1]
Measure=Plugin
Plugin=Plugins\CoreTempPlugin.dll
CPUId=1
[CPU1Graph1]
Meter=Line
MeasureName=mCPU1
X=0
Y=4
H=43
W=180
LineCount=1
LineColor=#graph.line1#
AntiAlias=1
I made sure that "CoreTempPlugin.dll" was everywhere where it should and shouldn't be, but to no avail...
I also found this (http://www.rainmeter.net/forum/viewt...ot+found#p5552)
saying something about compiling for certain OS-es but Win7, but I don't get that part entirely, it is a bit to technical for me.
So, am I hitting a dead end here?
