HTC Home Weather Gadget HTC Home for Windows
A nice clock and weather widget, which is the same as what's used on HTC mobile phones. It goes quite well with aero theme, and can be customised to start on startup, the size can be changed, the weather animation (the clouds you see on the image) can be disabled.
It's a nice looking gadget and worth a look.
It doesn't install like your normal gadgets, either. You need to run the .exe file that's in the .zip folder. So extract it to a folder and put the folder somewhere, then run the .exe. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows 7 Enterprise x64 Service Pack 1 CPU Intel Core i7 920 Motherboard ASUS Sabertooth x58 Memory 6GB XMS3 Corsair 1333MHz Graphics Card ASUS Nvidia Geforce GTX470 SLI Sound Card ASUS Xonar DX/XD 7.1 Monitor(s) Displays Dell 24" S2409W + Dell 20" E207WFP Screen Resolution 1920x1080 + 1680x1050 Keyboard Logitech G11 Keyboard Mouse Logitech G5 Laser Mouse (2007 edition) PSU Corsair HX850 modular Case Coolermaster 690II Advanced Nvidia Edition Cooling Zalman CNPS9700-NT Cooler, 3x 140mm, 2x 120mm Hard Drives 1x 120GB OCZ Vertex 2E, 1x 750GB Western Digital Caviar Black, 1x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Green Internet Speed 100Mbps Other Info LG Blu-Ray player |

It's not really a utility program. It just sits on the desktop like any other gadget would, and the customisation options are like any other gadget. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows 7 Enterprise x64 Service Pack 1 CPU Intel Core i7 920 Motherboard ASUS Sabertooth x58 Memory 6GB XMS3 Corsair 1333MHz Graphics Card ASUS Nvidia Geforce GTX470 SLI Sound Card ASUS Xonar DX/XD 7.1 Monitor(s) Displays Dell 24" S2409W + Dell 20" E207WFP Screen Resolution 1920x1080 + 1680x1050 Keyboard Logitech G11 Keyboard Mouse Logitech G5 Laser Mouse (2007 edition) PSU Corsair HX850 modular Case Coolermaster 690II Advanced Nvidia Edition Cooling Zalman CNPS9700-NT Cooler, 3x 140mm, 2x 120mm Hard Drives 1x 120GB OCZ Vertex 2E, 1x 750GB Western Digital Caviar Black, 1x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Green Internet Speed 100Mbps Other Info LG Blu-Ray player |

Looks nice, but watching the video it just sits in the middle. Would be nice if you could move the clock in a corner somewhere and still have the annimations. Not bad though.
BTW my I love my HTC's phone annimations. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Built by me OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Intel Core i7-950 (3.06GHz) OC to 3.8GHz Motherboard Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD5 rev 1, F6 Bios Memory Corsair Dominator -TR3X6G1600C8D (6GB - 3X2GB) Graphics Card AMD Radeon HD6950 2gig (Sapphire) Sound Card X-Fi Titanium Fatality Pro Monitor(s) Displays HP ZR22w 22" LCD Monitor Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 Keyboard Logitech Wireless Wave Mouse Logitech Performance MX PSU Antec Signature - SG-850 Case Cooler Master HAF X Cooling Noctua NH-C12P SE14 Hard Drives Primary - OCZ Vertex 2 SSD (120GB). BTW my I love my HTC's phone annimations. You can. I have it in the top right corner of my secondary monitor. You can drag it around like any other gadget you'd have on your desktop. The animations can be enabled/disabled in the settings.
Don't know why they didn't show that you can move it around in the video, as it does make it seem it just sits in the middle of the screen. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows 7 Enterprise x64 Service Pack 1 CPU Intel Core i7 920 Motherboard ASUS Sabertooth x58 Memory 6GB XMS3 Corsair 1333MHz Graphics Card ASUS Nvidia Geforce GTX470 SLI Sound Card ASUS Xonar DX/XD 7.1 Monitor(s) Displays Dell 24" S2409W + Dell 20" E207WFP Screen Resolution 1920x1080 + 1680x1050 Keyboard Logitech G11 Keyboard Mouse Logitech G5 Laser Mouse (2007 edition) PSU Corsair HX850 modular Case Coolermaster 690II Advanced Nvidia Edition Cooling Zalman CNPS9700-NT Cooler, 3x 140mm, 2x 120mm Hard Drives 1x 120GB OCZ Vertex 2E, 1x 750GB Western Digital Caviar Black, 1x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Green Internet Speed 100Mbps Other Info LG Blu-Ray player |

I like it, thanks. Maybe it isn't a gadget in the traditional sense, but I still like it. Who knows whether or not I'll keep it long though. | My System Specs | | |
