Windows 7: Gadgets Display Properties

Ok, I have a weird idea that will be HUGELY useful if I make it work the way I'm thinking...

but I need to find out how to force *SELECTIVE* gadgets to display whether a screensaver is on OR the user account is locked or not.

In otherwords, so I want to be able to force the network status gadgets (monitoring 50+ servers) to display ALWAYS, even when the user account itself is locked.

That way my 2nd display becomes an overall system health monitor even when I'm away from my desk teammates can glance and see if any systems are down, but without leaving my files / desktop open to interaction by others.

If I get this working, I'm planning on setting it up for ~300 servers in another group.

Any ideas?
