| | Help! Gadgets gone transparent! Some of the gadgets on my laptop have recently gone transparent. I have no idea why this might be the case because "Opacity" is set to 100% and they used to look just fine... Specifically, the (default) clocks appear normal, but the default currency exchange and Weather Underground ones look silly. They appear normal when I click on them, but then revert to 'almost invisible.' Help! |

| | You should check the options button next to every gadget. If it doesn't work, you can disable the Aero effect that makes the transparency. It is located in Control panel --> Customization --> Aero effect. |
