    Gadgets appear on taskbar

When I boot my machine the gadgets appear on the right as requested but there is also a space on the task bar for each gadget. these do not contain any description and if I right click on them I can "exit" remove them without the gadget going away. How do I stop this Task bar thing from happening?

    Gadgets appear on the taskbar

I am not sure this is the solution. Won't removing them from startup also remove the gadget itself? I want the gadget, running. I just don't want the blank entry on the task bar. I don't think it is normal.

Black Ooops the word is Blank....I do want to see Gadgets at startup...I just don't want the entries on the task bar that appear also...They contain no description. They are "Blank" but they represent each gadget. They can be removed with a right click and the Gadget does not go away. This is not normal. Does not happen on my other machines and didn't use to happen on this machine.

Well no solution yet but here is more info. If I exit the Task bar entry the Gadget remains but it no longer does anything. If I reght click on the dsk top/view and click on Desk top Gadgets the gadgets go away from the desktop and the taskbar. Then when I go to view and click on Gadgets again they reappear and they are not in my taskbar. This is what I have to do each time I boot????

I'm posting this suggestion for the 3rd time tonight, but I believe it may indeed help you.

Try a few things for the gadget problem(s). Try turning the Windows Gadget Platform off, reboot, then turn it back on:

Windows Features - Turn On or Off

If no help, try the System File Checker

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Note you will have to repatch your system after if using 3rd party theme.

    Gadgets in Task Bar

Thank You for your suggestions. I tried them both to no avail. SFC didn,t show any problems. I ran it twice just to be sure. Turning gadgets off reboot then on reboot same problem.
