windows 7 gadgets? hi all,
is there any new or old Gadgets for windows 7 that shows both weather clock and date in one? i mean all in one? instead of having show-date for itself and show weather for itself so i am forced to use 3 gadgets but i could use only one 1 that maybe shows all? if there's any out there? or anyone knows? or so i could create it by myself ?
thank you, | My System Specs |

Rainmeter seems to be one of the most popular: Rainmeter.net and HTC Home for Windows (in the thread below) seems to be interesting. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Pavillion dv5t (generation 1) OS Vista 64 bit and 32 bit (SP2) CPU Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T9400 (2.53 GHz Memory 4GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm) Graphics Card 512 MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT Monitor(s) Displays 15.4" diagonal WSXGA+ High-Definition HP BrightView Widescre Screen Resolution 1680 x 1050 Keyboard Built-in HP Mouse Built in - Synaptics TouchPad V6.5 on PS/2 Port Hard Drives 320GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection Internet Speed Max Other Info ~ Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-card w/Bluetooth ~ Blu-Ray ROM DVD+/-R/RW ~ Integ. Unless you double the size of your Taskbar, the "time and date" only shows the time, and not the date. (I've never understood why MS designed it that way! It makes no sense to me --- the date is one of the most needed bits of information that people generally refer to every day!) If you want to check the weather also, I think it's a great idea to have the gadget include the time and date as well. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Pavillion dv5t (generation 1) OS Vista 64 bit and 32 bit (SP2) CPU Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T9400 (2.53 GHz Memory 4GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm) Graphics Card 512 MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT Monitor(s) Displays 15.4" diagonal WSXGA+ High-Definition HP BrightView Widescre Screen Resolution 1680 x 1050 Keyboard Built-in HP Mouse Built in - Synaptics TouchPad V6.5 on PS/2 Port Hard Drives 320GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection Internet Speed Max Other Info ~ Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-card w/Bluetooth ~ Blu-Ray ROM DVD+/-R/RW ~ Integ. I have a default taskbar and it shows both: (btw: it is the same on my 4 Windows 7 systems) | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba - 4 laptops and 2 desktops OS Vista, Windows7, Mint Mate, Zorin, Windows 8 CPU from 1.6GHz Duo to i7 Monitor(s) Displays 2x HP w2207 Keyboard with trackball - no mices Mouse Trackball mice Hard Drives 5x HDD, 7x SSD, 12x Externals Internet Speed DSL 6000 |

My apologies, whs. I was thinking of my Vista taskbar which only was high enough to show just the time and not the date. The Windows 7 taskbar is a bit higher. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Pavillion dv5t (generation 1) OS Vista 64 bit and 32 bit (SP2) CPU Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T9400 (2.53 GHz Memory 4GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm) Graphics Card 512 MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT Monitor(s) Displays 15.4" diagonal WSXGA+ High-Definition HP BrightView Widescre Screen Resolution 1680 x 1050 Keyboard Built-in HP Mouse Built in - Synaptics TouchPad V6.5 on PS/2 Port Hard Drives 320GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection Internet Speed Max Other Info ~ Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-card w/Bluetooth ~ Blu-Ray ROM DVD+/-R/RW ~ Integ. That is correct. In Vista the taskbar is skinnier. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba - 4 laptops and 2 desktops OS Vista, Windows7, Mint Mate, Zorin, Windows 8 CPU from 1.6GHz Duo to i7 Monitor(s) Displays 2x HP w2207 Keyboard with trackball - no mices Mouse Trackball mice Hard Drives 5x HDD, 7x SSD, 12x Externals Internet Speed DSL 6000 |

I took HTC Home 2 off mine at the weekend as it was causing problems.
It continually produced a CSC.EXE error on PC shutdown telling me it had problems starting in the first place (but it seemed to be running OK) and it was refusing to hold it's set position and size at startup.
All was well until I added it to the gadget list for a second user of the PC, then it all went wrong!
Went through the total uninstall and Ccleaner route first (a few times) to no avail.
I reckon it was down to the first version installing into UserName > Appdata but version 2 installing into Program Files.
Even though I trawled the registry and folders (and MsConfig) I could not find any further references to it in either but I still reckon it was trying to start a second instance from AppData, which of course no longer existed. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Novatech (UK) iRush Pro OS MSDN Home Premium CPU Intel i5 Motherboard Intel DP55WB Memory 4Gb Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD 5770 Sound Card On Board Monitor(s) Displays Philips 170B Keyboard Microsoft 3000 Wireless Mouse Microsoft 5000 Wireless BlueTrack PSU 750W Case Antec 300 Cooling Tricool Fans Hard Drives 1 x 1Tb
