Windows 7 - Windows Desktop Gadgets has stopped working

In Vista the sidebar worked correctly with 2 calenders (month view and day view) and 2 clocks (local and US eastern time)

After updating to Windows 7, the Sidebar and Gadgets did not work from the beginning (unhandled exception). I ran a batch, but not the suggested restore since there was none available.

I join the piece of assembly code where the exception seems to happen. Hope this helps to find the cause and a solution.
