I need some gadgets fixed! IE9 PNG images rendering issue!

Some gadgets started looking ugly when I installed IE9.

Example:
Name: ugly.JPG
Views: 1377
Size: 12.7 KBđ

These white corners came here courtesy of the new pngfilt.dll, which arrived with IE9.
Name: pngfilt.JPG
Views: 12
Size: 43.7 KB

Now, png's of the gadgets that render correctly with the new filter look like this in Paint and Picasa Image Viewer:
Name: post-349-13002976392141.jpg
Views: 7
Size: 18.3 KB

Question: which png filters renders png images correctly, the new one or the old one? Can the images such as the theme of the gadget on top:
Name: oldgadgettheme.png
Views: 1382
Size: 2.5 KB be corrected, or should I replace the new pngfilter with the old one?

Help needed, PNG engineers!
