I am having this problem. None of my gadgets is set to be always on top - I don't want them to be. I have currently five gadgets on my desktop: Calendar, Clock, Weather, All CPU Meter and Currency.

The problem happens when I click on the Show Desktop button (the rightmost, transparent one on the Taskbar). Then, one or more gadgets (how many, and which, are completely random) stay always on top. The right-click menu option shows Always on Top off (unchecked), yet they are always on top.

Nomisqc's workaround works, and I've found another one: turning Always on Top on for the stubborn gadgets, then off again. Then they don't stay always on top until the next time I click on the Show Desktop button. But it's still annoying to have to apply these workarounds - I'd like this to simply not happen!

This started to happen after I reinstalled Windows a couple of weeks ago, but the only different thing I did was to install AMD Catalyst 12.2. Maybe something to do with this driver version?

Any hint? Thanks for your help.
