Gadgets Download I am unable to download any of the third party gadgets from windows live galllery. After I click install, nothing happens, I do not get an acknowledgement of anything downloading, and of course nothing appears in my download folder. I am baffled. | My System Specs |

I rarely use FF, but when I clicked install I get this dialog:
What happens if you press Ctrl+j ? Does the gadget show in your downloads? On Tools> Options screen, where do you have downloads set to download to? Did you look there?

You could try right click and save as to kind of forcefully download the file. Once you get the file you can just double click it to install it. I usually save all my gadgets so I can install them again if I reload anyhow and that is how I do it. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Win7 64bit Ultimate CPU AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition Thuban 3.3GHz, 3.7GHz Motherboard Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 Memory CORSAIR DOMINATOR GT 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1866 DDR3 Graphics Card XFX HD-697A-CNDC Radeon HD6970 2GB 256-bit Sound Card Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Platinum Fatal1ty Edition Monitor(s) Displays Dual 25 Inch Hanns-G HZ251 Screen Resolution 1920x1080 X 2 Keyboard Kensington (Low-Profile) Mouse Creative Fatal1ty PSU Corsair 850W Single Rail Case Thermaltake V9 BlacX w/ Dual HDD Docking Station Cooling Air lots and lots of air and copper... Make sure nothing is interfering, such as an add-on like No-Script, if you have it installed.
Have you tried in a different browser, say IE?
What are the results of that? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Airbot 2.0 OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Core i7 920 (D0) @ 4Ghz, *26c idle *65c full load on air Motherboard Asus P6X58D Premium - Sata 6Gb/s - USB 3.0 Memory 12GB DDR3 Corsair Dominator -CMD12GX3M6A1600C8 at 1600MHz Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX 480 -Aftermaket Accelero Xtreme Plus cooler Sound Card ASUS Xonar D2X Monitor(s) Displays 1 LG 24" Flatron W2453V-PF 1 Samsung 24" P2450H both 2ms RT Screen Resolution 1920x1080@60hz Keyboard Logitech Wireless MK700 Mouse Logitech Wireless MK700 PSU Corsair HX1000W Case Cooler Master HAF 932 Cooling Case Fans *3 230mm, *1 140mm/CPU - *Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme Hard Drives 1 OCZ Vertex2 180GB SSD

Dear Doc Brown & Airbot, I am ashamed to admit it, but I have just turned traitor to Mozilla: I tried IE, that came with my computer, and Lo! Behold! We have download! It a darn shame folks need two web browsers just to used the internet.
Thank you both,

Works OK for me in Firefox 4.0.1, and IE9, so might be some issue (addon) or something with your Firefox install.
At least you can get them downloaded though. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Airbot 2.0 OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Core i7 920 (D0) @ 4Ghz, *26c idle *65c full load on air Motherboard Asus P6X58D Premium - Sata 6Gb/s - USB 3.0 Memory 12GB DDR3 Corsair Dominator -CMD12GX3M6A1600C8 at 1600MHz Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX 480 -Aftermaket Accelero Xtreme Plus cooler Sound Card ASUS Xonar D2X Monitor(s) Displays 1 LG 24" Flatron W2453V-PF 1 Samsung 24" P2450H both 2ms RT Screen Resolution 1920x1080@60hz Keyboard Logitech Wireless MK700 Mouse Logitech Wireless MK700 PSU Corsair HX1000W Case Cooler Master HAF 932 Cooling Case Fans *3 230mm, *1 140mm/CPU - *Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme Hard Drives 1 OCZ Vertex2 180GB SSD
