help with icons

    help with icons


    So i just found some really cool folder icons and downloaded them but i dont know how to add them to the icons that windows already has.could anyone please explain to me how to do this or point me in the right direction to get more info?thx

    thanks alot for the replies i have got that problem all figured out and now i have yet another one,i am trying to delete the text under the icons,i have tried the alt 255 thing and that wont work because i am using a dell inspiron 1545 and i dont think it has any kind of number lock key on it!! please help any suggestions would be appriecated.thanks again

    That's great news Nick.

    Yeah, you can use Character Map in the links above instead to hide the icon text. :)

    You could also try the on screen keyboard. That has a number pad. Just type osk.exe into search to find it.
