Windows 7 - Tried Troubleshooting; Can't Get Gadgets

| | Tried Troubleshooting; Can't Get Gadgets I had a Weather Bug gadget up for a couple months with Windows 7, but one day it disappeared and I can't find anything that will let me get it back up. I've scoured internet forums, tried every troubleshooting thing they suggest (YES, I am aware that UAC needs to be on) and still can't get gadgets. Help? |

| | Welcome to Seven Forums psommer07. When you right click the desktop, do you have a choice of Gadgets? If so, what happens when you click on it (please remember, you may have done all this, but we need to establish where you are). Try turning the gadget Platform off and back on again: Windows Features - Turn On or Off Scroll down to Windows Gadget Platform, untick it, reboot, then re-tick it. Let us know where you stand as to the above and we can go from there. A Guy |
