    [HELP] Windows7 Gadgets Are Showing up as Black


    Hi !
    I've a problem with my windows sidebar, you can see it just in the bottom
    I've tried many solution (Regedit Keys Update,The Microsoft Fixit Program,...)
    But Not of these solution works up
    I Think that this problem has a relation with Kaspersky Antivirus 2011
    Because i've installed it on my computer,but it stated to frezzee my computer ,
    so i simply unistalled it
    And Just After the unistall , The Gadgets Don't Show Up Black
    I Hope That you find out a solution for my problem,

    P.S:None Of The Solution i've found here (in Sevenforums) Worked !!

    oh,by the way
    when i switch the user
    the gadgets are working perfectly !!

    i've two users on my computer
    Admin : which i use and where i have this problem
    an other (limited account) : the gadgets work perfectlly

    Our posts passed in transit.

    Have you considered going back to an earlier system restore point?

    WIN | type System Restore | ENTER | NEXT | highlight a desired point |
    Scan for affected programs button | make a mental note of programs which you may need to reinstall..

    NeXT button when you're satisfied with the selection.

    From here on out, it's the normal ok and finish

    Have you tried all the suggestions in this thread?

    Also, have you run the Kaspersky uninstaller tool?

    KAV Remover Tool

    After running the tool, turn off the gadget platform, reboot, then turn gadget platform back on

    Start> In search box type

    turn windows features on or off

    Press enter> Scroll down to Windows Gadget Platform> Untick it and reboot> After reboot return and tick it again.
