I have a sony vaio with windows 7 home premium and when I uninstalled Mcafee my desktop gadgets didn't work would someone please tell how to solve this problem

Hello AzAz, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Not quite sure what you mean by "didn't work" without more details. However, a common problem is with them not displaying properly anymore as well. You might see if this tutorial below may be able to help.
