    Whoa, progress! IE9 neutering the Calendar Gadget gets a KB article!

    Will they ever fix it? Well we'll just have to wait and see.

    Pretty much the same problem here, with the same solution.

    Internet settings/zones to 0.

    Windows 7 Gadgets may not work or display properly

    Gadgets not Displaying Correctly in Windows 7 - Fix

    That doesn'tt fix the calendar gadget.

    They say it fixes the calender gadget not displaying properly. If it actually doesn't, well that's another story.

    "Windows 7 Gadgets may stop working and may not display properly"

    "or calendar gadget may display as an orange background without dates."

    That was an older damage by Adobe and god knows what. IE9 breaks it real good, you cannot fix it. Broken™ by Microsoft®.

    One of the recent updates might have repaired the Calendar gadget. Mine suddenly works now, anyhow. Can anyone who has had the blank gadget confirm?
