One gadget and 3 yahoo widgets. Can't find the ideal system monitor yet. Fiddling with Rainmeter but requires using my brain. Limneos' sevenforums Gadget is beautifully executed and excellent for seven forums addiction.
The Yahoo Widgets work really well and are generally better looking than the gadgets. The system monitors however don't work well in 7 yet.
I particularly like the Pocket Weather widget which as you can see has a nice simple forecast popout and links to AccuWeather.

I'm not really a gadget fan. I find it clutters up the system and often causes a bit of extra system overhead that I can do without. Every now and again, I fire them up and give them a shot...but usually within a day or two, they are all turned back off.
I've also got a diagnosed case of OCD...so constantly seeing my CPU temps or watching the temperature outside is a bit overwhelming for me at times. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Self-Built in July 2009 OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU Intel Q9550 2.83Ghz OC'd to 3.40Ghz Motherboard Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R rev. 1.1, F12 BIOS Memory 8GB G.Skill PI DDR2-800, 4-4-4-12 timings Graphics Card EVGA 1280MB Nvidia GeForce GTX570 Sound Card Realtek ALC899A 8 channel onboard audio Monitor(s) Displays 23" Acer x233H Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard ABS M1 Mechanical Mouse Logitech G9 Laser Mouse PSU Corsair 620HX modular Case Antec P182 Cooling stock Hard Drives Intel X25-M 80GB Gen 2 SSD
