Windows Gadget appears on top of other applications

    Hi everyone,

I'm using couple of gadgets on the sidebar and I didn't have any problems since last week.

The problem is, when I use the keys Alt + Tab once to change windows, no matter I use the keys again or not, some (not always the same) of the gadgets appear on top of the application I'm using (Firefox, Skype, Microsoft Word...). Even when I change the windows from taskbar they keep appearing on top. The same problem occurs when I use of the gadgets. For example when I use the dictionary (seslisozluk) or enter a task to zCalender.

I'm not sure but the problem might have began when I downloaded zCalender. Since the problem began, the gadgets are working slower than before. It takes a while the cursor to change to the cursor which appears when you get it on a place to type, when I use the dictionary. Also when I take the cursor on the calender, it takes time to show the tasks. Close and Options buttons appear slower on the other gadgets as well (on clocks and weather).

I've read the topics on windows sidebar on this forum (problems about gadgets appearing black etc.) tried them but they didn't work. I closed every single gadget and tried again but it didn't work. I didn't try to uninstall zcalender because I'm afraid my tasks to be gone.

The problem disappears when I check "always on top" on each gadget and then uncheck again. But still when I do one of the things I explained above, the problem happens again.

I'd be glad if you guys help.

    Thanks

    Luzer,
    Welcome to SevenForums.

And if you 100% remove zCalender does the problem go away?

I'm having the same problem as the OP (hence why I'm posting here, I googled my problem and his post was the 3rd to come up) and I don't have a widget by that name.

Let me suggest you start your own thread wherein you state your problem and fully describe the gadgets involved.

    Thanks for your cooperation

I just noticed that you had a couple of snapshots of bsod displays.

Did you get the bsod problem resolved?

If you mean blue screen error by "bsod", I didn't have any blue screen errors. Firefox is running and the gadgets are aside in the snapshots.
