    Email gadget?

    Hi PPl

Having not used Vista Im new to all these gadgets, but I love them!

Has anyone seen or used a decent gadget that checks multiple POP3 email accounts (by multiple I mean 6 or 7) and shows if there are any emails to download in the gadget?

I have seen a couple but got warned off them.

    Cheers

Depends on the type of email accounts. there are tons of helper apps for MSN,google, yahoo, etc. I haven't seen one for a plain vanilla pop server but im sure there are.

Why did you get warned off them?

well maybe warned off is a bit strong. Put off them by the comments left about them would be more accurate.

I have 5 normal POP3 accounts and a couple of Gmail accounts that i would like to set up to be checked.

I didnt think it would be that hard to find something that does this, but I guess i was wrong lol

tried that a while ago, but it doesn't do live mail
if you put it on SSL as required there's an SSL error on retrieving mail

    i set server to pop3.live.com
    my email as username
set it to SSL, it sets itself to port 995 which it should do.

it tries to connect,no go. I configured Mailwasher with the same parameters and it works fine. The gadget works fine with my other accounts so it's not connection issue

    Pity, i like the gadget.
