Windows 7 - Error in Windows gadget gallery website.

The following is what I get when clicking the install link at the bottom of a chosen gadget in windows gadget gallery. It has been like this for days now and I am in need of 3 more gadgets. Anyone know what’s going on with the site???

White web page with the following error:

Welcome to Seven Forums repinscales. It looks like you went to a 3rd party Gadget site. The one linked to is MS and it worked for me just now.

Thank you for the welcome and the quick response times fellas. I went into the site again and the same error popped up. I use Mozilla Fire Fox as my web browser and thought that was what was causing the problem (let the trouble shooting begin, lol) I then did a reinstall of windows 7 and still no fix.
I hope they did not take that site down or away, one of the reason i liked windows 7 so much was for the gadgets.
zombiefly; thanks for the link but do you know of any info that comes from a Microsoft site?

Try here Desktop gadgets - Microsoft Windows
They just aren't supporting uploads and developement of gadgets, as explained in the article.

Use IE and try to get them, MS in the past has discouraged going on their sites with a 3rd party browser.

I did that and it still didn't work. Any idea on how to get to (safe) gadgets from another site?

Well this is funny, your link is working but the one that's attached to my windows 7 gadgets and through a web search does not work. lol go figure. Its also opening back up through Firefox.

Now after I installed the Amazon gadget and went back in to get the weather it gives me the same error, something is still wrong here.

I don't know what's going on unless MS pulled the plug even more. As for safe gadgets, try Google. I don't use any gadgets so I can't direct you to specific ones. The error you posted appears to be the html and CSS embedded in the page. You might try a refresh (F5) when you get that.

EDIT: My link worked for me so it is still active.

Thanks for all your responses Britton30. I have tried everything and nothing is working at all. I got lucky earlier and was able to get one, now the error is there permanent. It seems ur the only one that can get them. I have had friends try and they were not able to get any gadgets from the windows site either. I am lost here.
