    Windows Gadgets Fail To Install

I just upgraded to the latest build, and I finally decided to check these gadgets out. The only problem that i got is i am unable to add ANY new gadget from Windows Live Gallery .

All my programs in my D drive(2nd HD), and i edited the registry to make D my default "D:\Program Files". I am not sure if that is the issue, but I know most people dump all their files on the Windows drive.

Anyone else with my type of setup please help out.

My pics go left to right, as the order. Hopefully they help.

    Thanks for your time.

Do you have UAC turned off by any chance?

the changing of the default program files can very well be the case here...
since i see that you have gadgets already open then i doubt its a UAC issue...
Microsoft does not support changing the location of the Program Files folder by modifying the ProgramFilesDir registry value
    specifically this...
Microsoft does not support changing the location of the Program Files folder by modifying the ProgramFilesDir registry value. If you change the location of the Program Files folder, you may experience problems with some Microsoft programs or with some software updates.

    and please dont bump threads....
