Windows 7: Looking for a Dock Type Gadget for Games

I use steam as my main gaming "platform" but I really want a gadget on my desktop that displays all of my games in my library, they have the exact thing I want as the small version of the steam library

but I really want it in the form of a gadget so it is always pinned to my desktop



Even if the gadget is not steam related, I just want to be able to have all my games listed out like in the attachment.

I have tried programs like AppLauncher(Which was hard to find because windows took it down) and various docks, but none have been quite right for what I want.

are there any suggestions of gadgets or alternative methods? I would be willing to try and make it myself although I have limited to no programming experience.
