    Desktop Gadgets

I am looking for some kind of shortcut to make desktop gadgets appear and disappear like they do in Mac OS.

I have searched but have not found anything like this.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks.

Hello Fdezarra, and welcome to Seven Forums.

OPTION TWO in the tutorial below may be what you are after to toggle hiding and showing all gadgets on the desktop.

Desktop Gadgets - Hide or Show

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Thanks for the reply, Shawn. This is a more permanent solution.

What I am looking for is a quick key or mouse gesture which would bring forth the gadgets and then performing the same action would make them go away, regardless of whatever application you are on at that moment.

Do you know if this exists for windows?

Did you just want to be able to get a quick view of the gadgets, and not actually hide them?

If so, you could use the Show Desktop button for Aero Peek to do this.

Thanks. I'm sure that you helped either directly or indirectly but i realized that pressing the windows tab and spacebar replicates aeropeek. I will use this.

    Thanks.

That's great news Fdezarra. Actually, you would just need to press the Windows Key + Spacebar for Aero Peek.
