Windows 7: how to make WMP launcher sidebar gadget?

can anyone please teach me how to make WMP launcher sidebar gadget. im a fan of alienware theme. but there are no gadgets yet for this theme. so i wanted to make a wmp launcher to fit my theme. its kinda like an application shortcut in the desktop but without a shortcut name and a highlight when you select it. plus a 1 click launch. and i wanted to use this icon.





or if possible an animated one.

i dunno how to make a JS. please teach me. or you like you can make one. hehe.. thanks!!!!!!!
