Welcome to Seven Forums BOO7ND. Which versions of the 2 programs are you using? Currently All CPU Meter is at version 4.0.5 , and PC Meter version 0.3 Beta. You can download the latest HERE. Make sure you have PC Meter set to start with windows:

Let us know if you have done all this and still have the same issues. I'm not sure if your OS being Home Basic makes any difference, the apps show Windows 7 as supported, not any specific versions.

If you aren't married to All CPU Meter, may I suggest the Core Temp Gadget I am using? Has many configurable options, and it has always worked perfectly for me. Whereas I have seen ALL CPU Meter issues quite often.

Have you confirmed the PC Meter is actually running? regardless if it is set to start with windows.

Sorry, I have no personal experience with All CPU Meter. BTW, the Core Temp Gadget seems to do everything All CPU does

did you get this fixed yet please? I have exact same problem!

    or

if you haven't managed to sort it(?) ...do you happen to know how to contact the program developer?

    cheers!

Hmmm, I suspect this is a UAC issue. Try this

Right click the PC Meter.exe> Properties> Compatibility tab> Privilege Level> Put a check in Run this program as an administrator> Apply and OK your way out

    all cpu meter-admin.jpg

See if that works. A Guy
