Windows 7 - Server 2008 R2 with Win 7 Gadgets

Hi All,

I am trying to use Server 2008 R2 beta with the windows 7 gadgets... I have successfully gotten the vista sidebar and gadgets to work in 2008 R2 beta, but I cannot seem to get the Win 7 version of sidebar to work.

Does anyone have any idea how to make this work? I've tried taking the prog files\sidebar directory and put it in the prog files directory on my 2008 R2 beta drive, registered the same two dlls and then started sidebar - but nothing happens. I have UAC turned on AND I've "taken ownership"... still nothing. The gadgets icon in control panel is not there, nor can I find a .cpl file on my win 7 machine that refers to the gadgets. I also do not have a right click -> gadgets link...

Any pointers would be awesome!!
