| | Cannot get gadgets to work Hi I am new to this group. This is my first post. I am running Windows 7 home 64bit. I just tried to install some of the gadgets that came with the OS. When I right click on the desktop and select gadgets I get a message saying that gadgets are managed by your system administrator. I am an administrator on my system. I checked the folder c:\program Files (X86)\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets and there are folders there. When I checked C:\Users\MyUserName\....Windows sidebar\Gadgets\ this folder was empty. I copied the folders from the folder under (X86) to this folder but the gadgets still do not work I get the same message that gadgets are managed by the system administrator. Regards Stuart |

| | Hi, I would like to say that you should try out Rainmeter instead its safer then windows gadgets add way more customization and uses way less memory, the picture shows how I have my setup |
