Great to hear you have it solved - it's annoying that you had to reinstall to get it to work.
If you do ever get a reply from the developer I would try and work with him to improve the gadget

From looking at other computers and on the Internet, it appears that the Contacts folder is supposed to have a customized menu bar with a "New Contact" button, but on this machine the menu looks the same as every other folder. I don't use this folder/app very often, so I can't say exactly when...

It can only shows US dollar in both column.
Even if I restart the gadget / computer, it still doesn't fix.

I just downloaded a gadget called The Magic Folder, but I have no idea how to make it work, and there doesn't seem to be any readme file. Anyone know how to make it work?

I installed Network Magic because its needed for my router but it made this folder that is only visible in Windows Explorer MRUS - screenie below
I tried to delete it from registry and it worked but I still get this!
