Can I move Gadgets from computer to computer?

    Can I move Gadgets from computer to computer?


    Well, I installed the new SSD, and did a fresh install of Win7 and everything went well...KINDA

    We have had WeatherBug's gadget on Winders for quite a while now, but WeatherBug.Com's download link does not work.

    My other Win7 machines have it. Is there a way I can copy it?

    Is there a site [still] out there for widgets?

    To answer your question though, you should be able to copy the folder with the gadget to your other computer.

    Yes you can move them from computer to computer, you'll find them at C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets folder
    AppData is hidden use step 3 of this tutorial to unhide it File and Folder - Hide or Unhide
