    You should be able to use Task Manager to do it as well. Open Task Manager, right click on sidebar.exe and set priority to "low".

    I see that you are serving the Seven Forum Gadget as a .zip

    Could anyone tell me (or give a link) to the newest version so i could
    upload an installer?

    A installer is available!

    Extract the contents of the .zip and run "sevenforums.Gadget.gadget"
    (click on the install button afterwards)
    And you should see the gadget loading on you desktop/sidebar!
    (users downloaded my previous installer should redownload this one)
