That's strange ,Gary, cause it works fine on mine, and you actually don't need to reinstall your gadget... I update the online page where it connects to, you should be able to use it without any hassle.

I can only think it has cached your page in the temporary files or something.

Try opening this page on your browser and see what it does between refreshes:

I just installed it on my x64 set opacity to 60%, looks about right with my 200+ changing background scenes. Horay I'm a New Gadgeteer

The page in that link seems to be refreshing ok. No fading, but refreshing. Cleared the browser cache with no effect. Going to download CCleaner and see if that can find anything.

Seems to be working ok now. CCleaner did the trick. Guess it was about time I cleaned out all the crud. 1.7GB of temp and cache files.

It was the same pic as before.

    I like the fade.

I was looking at it, and I see that between fades , if there are no significant differences within the posts, you can hardly tell it refreshed! Does it have the same effect on you? The refresh rate is 20 seconds.

Should I add a "refreshing' notification or something?

I'll make a change so you can see what I mean...without causing you to lose connectivity again, I'll be more careful this time

Yes it does have the same effect. Not as abrupt as before. Don't really think you need any notification. Only thing (and not a biggie) is that it is very difficult to read the blue 'gadgeters online' thing on a blue background.

hmm...I added a notification as you might already see, but I think it might get annoying.

The blue can be replaced...I think the red color , saying "1 minute ago" for new posts is even worse over blue. I'll change the "gadgeters online" to white color...

Tell me if the notification is annoying...

Just saw the 'refreshing notification'. To me that is just more annoying. I prefer the simple fade in/out. Working great now though. Thanks.
