How do I remove the small "toolbar" on the side of gadgets?

I'm talking about the icons that pop up whenever I hover my mouse over the gadgets.
I've tried to find the images in explorer.exe and sidebar.exe but to no avail

Do anyone know what I have to delete and in what .exe/.dll?

Welcome to Seven Forums fijsgivo. Gadget folders are located in

    C:\users\(User name)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets

I believe the mouseover settings are in the CSS (or possibly the js) files. Gadgets are for the most part javascript, CSS and XML files and images.

    Welcome to the Seven Forums

If you are talking about the Close, setting and drag on the side then it is in a RCData folder in the sidebar.exe in C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar and C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Sidebar.

    Yes that's exactly what i mean :)

I deleted the bitmaps in sidebar.exe but the buttons on the side of the gadget persists... damn you Microsoft for making it so hard to crack you OS :P

    EDIT:
    Sorry, missed one bitmap :S
Now it works but I think I messed up something.. I can't open the sidebar window, the one where you choose which gadgets you want on the desktop. But I don't care about that, I only use that one gadget so :)

    Thanks Bongo!

Instead of deleting them you should have edited them and made them transparent.
