    Screen Savers

The short list of Screen Savers that comes up in the Control Panel/Appearance & Personalisation isn't really what I would like.

How does one go about, please, in seeing what other (free) ones might be available,
and installing and adding them to the list to use ?

Also, the new Monitor (Samsung 22") that I just got does not have a "sleep mode" where the monitor goes to sleep after, e.g., 15 minutes or so. Can this be handled from the PC, or is it truly a monitor setup ?

    Thanks,
    Bob

You can make your screen saver from any picture you have. Se this article, How to Create Your Own Screen Saver with Windows Photo Gallery

I just add the aurora screensaver from Vista, always liked it :)

A screensaver is as simple as downloading and installing it, I don`t recommend it, too much garbage, be very careful.

    After all, it`s just a screensaver :)

And yes, sleep mode is handled from the OS in Control Panel>Power Options

I don't use a Screen Saver. I just have the monitor turn off after 20 minutes.
