You will find the gadget folders in 3 places:

    C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets

    C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets

AppData is hidden use step 3 of this tutorial to unhide it File and Folder - Hide or Unhide

    Thanks Guys,

I went into Programs and Features and Turn on / off windows feature and I disabled IE11,
this was a quick fix... everything works great now... Do you think there will be a new fix for IE 11to correct this in the future or perhaps they will never bother as the gadgets had been dismissed...
I use mainly IE for banking as I never populate it with custom features / addons, kind of feels more safe doing so than using your default browser in my case Firefox.....

I don't think there will be a fix of any kind for IE 11.
