FOUND THE SOLUTION !!!! Or at least a workaround...

I had to disable an option called "DirectDraw overlay" inside Geovision software. But now my cameras looks a bit different But until i can find a real solution i'll keep this setting.

That sounds more like it is telling you "Windows Color scheme has been changed to basic".

I found this thread with some info,

ezCCTV | CCTV Forum ? View topic - Colour Scheme in Windows 7

    Particularly this last post,

Late reply, but someone might need this info later:

The message you are receiving happens when a program is loaded that does not contain the advanced GUI features of the AERO desktop. The semi-transparent borders/bars and several other advanced features are disabled when a program is loaded that is not compatible with them. Geo uses a very basic set of GUI controls which forces Windows 7 to shut down the advanced features of the Windows Driver Display Model.

Not only is this not a problem, but for almost all cases it is a bonus because the AERO system uses a ton of extra memory and graphics power that is probably better reserved for your camera/recording system anyway.

This isn't an error, nor is it a problem with either Windows, nor any of your hardware. It is purely how geovision uses the GUI system. When you load the same computer and do not run geovision you will note that the message is not there and your AERO desktop should be running normally, unless you have another program conflicting with it of course.

    Hope this helps someone.
There is also mention of that workaround you just posted.

I'm experiencing very high CPU load (constent 75% to 100%) since i disabled DirectDraw overlay .... and i'm not even recording anything, just monitoring !
All applications are closed, just Geovision is running

I suppose that's because i use onboard video, but it wasn't so worse before i disabled DirectDraw overlay

It appears that GEOVISION performs some function that does not support Aero? I notice the popup window also has a pink outline. Try switching to a classic theme, and see if the gadgets have the pink outline. A Guy

Ooops, I wasn't on the last page when I replied. Sorry

Well my 2 cents worth anarchoi is it would have been nice to have a few more system specs to work with mate because it could have been a hardware problem too ie the GPU:)
