| | Stocks Gadget There was a Desktop Gadget in Vista that could show UK stock market prices, or even individual share prices, but I cannot find it in the Windows 7 Gadgets, anyone know if it is available? |

| | I think it was there in the release candidate, but I don't see it in the retail version either. I would guess it was deliberately removed because of flaws or because the developer balked--I think some of the gadgets are developed by outside sources, not by Microsoft directly. |

| | They removed the Stocks gadget from Windows 7. I prefer to use Yahoo! Widget engine ( Overview - Yahoo! Widgets ) instead of using the built-in Windows one. They have some very nice Widgets (gadgets). While I don't personally use the Stocks Widget, here is a pic of the one included in Yahoo! Widgets. |
