How do I increase size of desktop gadgets

I have dwnld & installed the well recommended gadgets:
    CPU Usage
    Speed test
    Google search
They all appear so small on my desktop that they are useless to me.
I need a magnifier to read them which os absurd.
Can I change size & if so how,

    17" LCD monitor at native resolution 1280 x 1040.
    Icons Med Size.
    Text at 130%

    THanks

Im not 100% sure but I dont believe so. Other than changing the res and text size. Let me investigate. Have you google the problem?

    Thanks
