How To Create Desktop Gadget For Windows 7

Hello,

I am not sure if possible, but I would like to create a Windows 7 desktop gadget. I am not sure if "Gadget" is the correct term. I would like a desktop so called gadget so I can enter a cost and it will show different sell margins. Is this possible? I am not sure if a Gadget is what I am needing or if there is a different product for me to view?

Thanks JR

Everything's possible. However, you might have to create a 3rd party windows Gadget Board [an add gadget board - don't allow uninstall - uninstall removes the core adder of any particular gadget]. there are some 3rd party gadgets out there -- take a look at them, and then write yours.
