I'm confused, is the sidebar in the picture Windows 7's or Windows Vista?
I like the one in the picture.
    Thanks.

The pic looks like W7 to me but the procedure to get sidebar back actually put the Vista sidebar on W7 as it doesn't have a native one at all.

Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade from Vista Home Premium

Sidebar for Windows 7 Upgrade from Vista Home Premium.

I have read the tutorials and steps to reinstate the sidebar from Vista to Windows 7, and maybe I am just not understanding.

In the tutorials and and steps to reinstate the Sidebar to Windows 7 they keep referring to folders in Vista which I need to copy and paste over to Windows 7 folders, but I did an upgrade and I have no more old Windows Vista Home Premium folders, only the new upgrade Windows 7 Home Premium folders. Windows Vista is no longer listed.

When I go to my Program Files Folders I do see the Sidebar folders there though, both in Program Files & Program Files (x86).

But Sidebar will not open and run.

So what do I do .... PLEASE HELP!

Durr, you need to own the sidebar files, because if they uploaded it, it would be considered warez.

    (In short, its your problem)

    Think twice next time.
