| | Do Windows Vista Gadgets work in Windows 7? Hi guys this is my first post here and I wanted to ask, do all Vista Gadgets work in Windows 7? I just dont want to mess up my new laptop and these Gadgets are getting dull. Also which Gadgets do you use? -Thanks  RJ P.S. Sorry if this has been posted, I tried searching and I couldnt find anything |

| | Yes, they do I believe. Download a vista gadget, extract the components to a folder that should be named something like "(gadget name).Gadget". Copy and paste it to C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets and then open up the box that shows you available gadgets and it should be there. |

| | The standard ones do. Some others don't - e.g. AppLauncher. But you can install the Vista sidebar in Windows 7: Vista Windows Sidebar - Reinstate on Windows 7 |
