    CPU temperature gadget

Does such a thing exist? i have seen ones that work but require an accompanying program to function. I can't seem to find a stand alone gadget to monitor temperatures.

everest is a little confusing having to type in all the values and such. from what i can tell there is no gadget that displays temperature without having some program running in the background. would it be possible to create a gadget that would do what im looking for?

    OrbLog

This site (I use google to translate from German to English) has a few gadgets that I use. One monitors temps and cpu core load, one monitors gpu temps, and a few others that I find useful.

I use that cpu gadget found at Orblog also. As long as you have an intel cpu it works perfectly for what you are looking for. Also shows mem usage. Just make sure you go into the settings and install the temp. driver.

    Take a look at:
    Core Temp

You may try the ASUS web site and check under downloads for PC Probe or PC ProbeII. Since you have ATI chipset it may work. It looks like this on my desktop
