Hard to find this one Since Microsoft is being crappy about Gadgets *removing them all from their website...
3d guru is having website issues - the link to this gadget is broken... I've spent over 60 minutes looking all over the web for this thing and it appears that NO one has mirrored the file anywhere...
If anyone has the file available = and is willing to share it with me please send it - I'll happily post it on some website for others to find...
This thread is 858 days old lol = I love being able to bump things that are old but still relevant... this is such a great site.
Unless someone knows of an improved version of a gadget that can do all the things this can...
See ya. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number 2many 2list OS XP32 and 7 Ultimate64 |

I have been using these Gadgets for a long time. They keep them updated too, unlike others that never see past Version 1. Gadgets for Geeks. Update - the link is working now... I reported it and they fixed it. Its a shame this Rivatuner does not work with all graphic cards... I tried three different machines - I can't get the Hardware monitoring option to appear (which means the card is not supported - so the RivaTuner program can not work - and therefore the GPU gadget will also fail to work because it is dependent on the secondary program)
Jeepmann4x4 Thanks for that link - Your suggestion looks really nice -and I have installed it- but it leaves out the only feature that I need = gpu temperature...
The #1 cause of laptop failure in my world is overheating... I've had over 10 go bad so far on me... so now I keep the room around 65 degrees - I clean the laptop fans and re apply heat sink yearly - and still I'm concerned about the things... I need a gadget that shows me the GPU temps... (since I try to only buy laptops with dual graphics it is tough to find a gadget that can read them properly)
There used to be a program that did EVERYTHING for a 40.00 fee == they had a nice gadget that did everything = but they were bought out back in 2010, the new owners have discontinued the gadget - they only have a large full fledged software package that takes up a whole screen and a decent amount of system resources... I can not find any old copies of the gadget - and I can't recall the strange name it had...
I'll watch this topic if anyone has any ideas shoot me a mail since it would likely be off topic lol
THANKS again | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number 2many 2list OS XP32 and 7 Ultimate64 |

I thank you again - The GPU monitor you have mentioned does show me one gpu temp at a time - I'm not able to get it to look like yours does (yours looks much better )
I use LAPTOPS - not Desktops. Most of these gadgets are designed for desktop gpu's= the few that have laptop gpu support do not support SLI/Crossfire or Hybrid gpu designs...
Specifics to the link you provided:
Supported GPU's:
- NVIDIA Desktop Cards (Generation: 7,8,9,200,300,400)
- ATI Desktop Card (Generation HD 2,3,4,5 [Catalyst 9.3 or above])
The gadget settings show me 4 possible graphic card options (2 do not work - not sure why they are in there as I only have 2 gpu's - not four) I can select whichever one I want and look at the fan speed or temp; can't see them both at the same time...
Plus the more important one is my 6750M - it Shows the proper name - but can not see the temp for that one; the hybrid 6620g however shows up with the WRONG name but shows 47C for the temp (I find that hard to believe - it should be more like 70 to 80c)
I thank you for your help - wish you all luck in your gadget searches; I guess I'm s.o.l. lol | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number 2many 2list OS XP32 and 7 Ultimate64 |

I run SLI and all I do is run two instances of the Gadget and set one to each card....
47c would be good temp for idle, but if thats showing for load temp then yes its wrong.
It might be because of it being a mobile card, I'm not sure as I do not have one....
You could try this one.... GPU Observer Gadget | Windows 7 Gadgets:
Ok these are NOT Gadgets but might work...You could look them up and try them
Speedfan
Ati Tray Tools
GPU-Z
I also do NOT know if they work with Mobile GPU's
Good Luck and sorry I could not be much help. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Jeepmann/Custom Built OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit + xp,Vista, ubuntu in V-Box's CPU Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (@4.5Ghz@1.230v) Motherboard Asus Maximus IV Extreme LGA 1155 Intel P67 Memory G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB 1600Mhz (4 x 4GB) (Stock) Graphics Card x2 EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX 570 (Stock) in SLI Surround Sound Card On-Board Monitor(s) Displays 3x Acer 24" HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor Screen Resolution 3@ 1920x1080 (5760x1080 In Surround) Keyboard Logitech G510 Mouse Zalman M300 PSU COOLER MASTER Silent Pro 1000W Case COOLER MASTER HAF X Black Cooling CORSAIR Hydro H70 Hard Drives Samsung 830 128gb ssd

lmao - Microsoft may aw well warn people to install Linux or risk being attacked because of their windows OS... Everything windows related is band-aid patched up and constantly getting more holes poked through it...
Shame they take a good idea like Gadgets and throw it out - then push their live tiles and metro interface as the new standard... puke - yuck -
Thanks for the info though - I'll be sticking with my gadgets until some other decent replacement is available...
