    Gadgets don't always load

Occasionally, and not often, my Gadgets don't load when I boot.
I noticed that if I Right-click the Desktop I can't launch the Gadget App when this happens.
I fix the problem by Logging off and Logging back on.
Is this a known issue, or just a glitch in my machine?

    It's UAC

    My UAC is off.

    Work around is

Open the Windows 7 Registry by pressing [Windows R], typing [regedit] and hitting [enter]. Now navigate to the Registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Sidebar\Setting and change the value of AllowElevatedProcess to 1.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Sidebar\Setting

"Setting" does not exist in this Registry Value...I wonder why?

This registry change fixed the problem. I had to add the value Setting first.
Then I added AllowElevatedProcess to 1.

    For 32bit users that's a Dword and for 64bit users that's a Qword.

This too happens to me. Some gadgets will load but some dont but I fix the problem by logging off and back onto the desktop and it works but it proves to be annoying and I told Microsoft about the problem via e-mail but as usual they provide an automated response which is never helpful as they tell you to search their forums for help from other users and on a scale of 1 - 10 that is a 1 (1 being the worst) because no one will ever have the same problem as you!
