How to get flash to work with gadgets?

I searched so forgive me if i could not find a post about this if so feel free to just link me.

Here is my question. How can i get my gadgets to work with adobe flash? I think it has something to do with rights issues. I have UAC disabled on my machine so i don't have to click yes for almost anything i do. So IDK if this is the exact problem but it seams to be as whenever i get a gadget that uses flash it asks me to to install it, i do and the gadget still shows the missing something frame you guys know what i mean the box with a red x in it.

So that's it I hope i I can somehow install flash to work with gadgets.

Thanks In advance I always get a good reply when i post to this board so thank you for that too (anyone who had posted a reply to my posts)

It won't work on a 64bit version of Windows, Adobe refuse to release a 64bit version of flash for Windows and the gadgets borrow the internals of Internet Explorer 64bit on a 64bit Windows.

I tried for several hours one day then I had a brainwave of trying it on a virtual machine running the 32bit version of Windows 7 and it worked.

That is absurd. I got windows 7 because a lot didn't work with xp 64. Same reason. No one wants to make stuff for 64-bit OS. At least Zune made a win7x64 version of the player.

My problem is I got a gadget that is a guitar tuner and chord list, and it says I need to install flash. It starts loading like it's going to do it, then stops. So I try to install it manually and nothing happens.

Also, it seems I only get the plugin. Which is for web browisers, correct? On my list of programs under ad/remove I only see the plugin, not the actual program.

Hopefully someone can shine some light on these, for I'd really like stuff to work on the new OS.

You would get a lot more attention (and response) if you started your own thread. The last post here is from June.

Just an FYI and btw welcome
