Whoa feller. That's an awfully broad question! More specific please.

To get appropriate pictures in Media Player ...

Organize > Options > Library > Retrieve additional information from the Internet
    > Privacy > Enhanced Playback - check all values

I'm not sure what you mean with regard to auto playlists. I don't think it's an option.

If you want to change any icon in windows 7 system, you may follow the tutorial Icons - Change Using Resource Hacker , but the process is lengthy

If you want to change media player display , first download Mp3tag - Download , then download an album art for your desired album, edit the music tags with mp3tag, and put the album art there. It is better if you resize your album art squarish (say 400x400 pixels) before putting it as musig album art tag .

This is the only way to change an icon? Do you know why? I can see "change icon" under properties but it is grayed out.

It may be due to some problem in icon cache . First try Icon Cache - Rebuild ; and if still the change icon button in the properties box is grayed out, Try SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker .

I wish there be no further problems .

    BTW, welcome to the forums
