Welcome to the Seven Forums!

It sounds like the problem may be with your computer's graphics processor. What kind of graphics processor do you have?

If you don't know what kind of graphics processor you have, you can check by opening the Start Menu, typing "dxdiag" and hitting Enter. A new window will open; click the Display tab at the top of that window, and the information will be listed in a category labeled "Device".

OK, go into the Start Menu again, type "System Information" and hit Enter. Now on the left side of the window that comes up, click the little plus sign next to Components, then click Display. After a few seconds, a whole bunch of information will come up on the right side. Tell me what the first line says (the line that starts with "Name").

Yes, that is what I was looking for. Now, can you take a screenshot of your problem occurring? It would really help me help you if I could see what it's doing.

So I have all of the Sims 2 expansion packs, and I installed them all perfectly - no issues at all. When I launch the game, though, it gets past the Sims 2 opening video, but freezes on the Mansion & Garden Stuff title screen. It won't even load and CTRL+AT+DEL shows that the game has become...

I just got a new laptop yesterday, and it has Windows 7 on it. Before I got it, I'd been using Windows XP since it came out (I'm only 15 - I grew up on XP). On my XP, I could play all my Sims games just fine, but this one won't play the Sims 1. I know it should be able to, because it plays the Sims...
