    GTA San Andreas

    Hi
I've just installed San Andreas. The game starts fine, but when the graffiti are done the game is frezing, and I have to shutdown the computer

Anyone who know how to fix that?

    What I have tried:
Run in compatibility mode for both XP and Vista
    Disable visual themes
    Disable desktop composition
    Run as admin

Hi andersnees welcome to the forums.

Firstly I hope we manage to get the issue resolved for you as GTA-SA is 1 of the best games i've ever played

Secondly if you've got capable hardware then you could try downloading the latest patches/updates that may be available (if you haven't already).

    Just a thought :)

I've updated the driver for my graphicscard manual, but it is still not working.

It is not when I play it freez, but when I start it up. Right after the nVidia logo has been there the screen gets black. But there are still sound in 10 seconds or something.

GTA San Andreas - 000 - The Introduction (Special Edition) - Google Video - Recherche vidéo sur Truveo I can hear the first 10 seconds of this, but the screen is black. After the 10 seconds the game freez.

    Other things I could try?

You could try here - GTA San Andreas PC Downloads (Demo Patch Maps Levels Trailers Movies) Index Page - GamersHell.com - and download the latest patch.

    Hope it helps :)

Goddamn f*ck. This game doesn't work on my RC 7100. More info about this problem here:
    GTAForums.com -> Can't launch on Windows 7

Edit: oh great. I tryed to downgrade it and I've discovered that my game version is 'unknown'.
