Falcon F4 AF running on my brand new Systemax machine, specced below, has a z-buffer problem. The external view of the aircraft has components that should be invisible, visible. For example ordnance, shadows, and wheel well covers and other panels "missing".
The BFOpsLog.txt file includes the line (repeated) : DXcontent: SetRenderTarget: No z-buffer support ! ! !
I have tweaked the graphics in the game and set it to HAL, i.e. not HAL T&E, but no change.
Running the DirectX diagnostic shows no problem. I can find no relevant tweak in the ATI Catalyst (graphics card) program that came installed in the machine. I tried setting OS compatibility back to Windows XP, where I have previously run the game on my old machine without problems, but no change.
