Need For Speed Most Wanted launching problem

    Hell.. I got another problem..
I can't run Need For Speed Most Wanted on Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit
When I run the exe of the game it just shows..
    "speed.exe has stopped working"
And yeah.. I went to properties and checked the
    "run on 640x480 screen resolution"
also did it individually and with
    "Run compatibility mode for *******"
    "windows xp service pack 3"

Well.. Need for speed underground 2 runs well..
Here's what I know with his comp
    Celeron D
    And a sticker.. with...
    HP Compaq
    Home Edition

The other specs.. I don't know..
    More info later on..

first of all what's your computer graphic spec? or if you were using LAPTOP can you tell us the exact name of your LAPTOP?

NFSU2 don't require a graphic card to play it even
"Integrated Intel® Extreme Graphics 2" can play this game however NFSMW requires a graphic card an integrated graphic card like "GMA G31" is enough

This game works in Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit). I've tried both variations and have done nothing but install the latest version of DirectX and that gets it going. Have you tried the latest patch for Most Wanted? Additionally, have you tried installing the latest version of the DirectX runtime (available at Download details: DirectX End-User Runtime)?

Can anyone link me to the latest patch for the game? Well.. I'll try out that DirectX..
Well.. Are there many types of DirectX aside from DirectX like "DirectX9 - 10"?

    No.

Just click the DirextX link in my Signature.

You want the Latest DirectX Downloads, a nd then Download the DirectX Runtime from the next page.
Should be the very 1st one.

It will update all it needs to on its own.

As far as the latest patch, it's available at ftp://largedownloads.ea.com/pub/patches/. Just search for nfsmwpatch1.3.exe, should be the 4th entry from the bottom.

now we talking piracy stuff isn't against the rules?

    anyway

you don't need a DX10 to play the game you mentioned that you were using Windows 7 you should get a latest DX11 and below ..your problem is a graphic card but have your PC meet the system requirements before digging your own problem?

    here's the game requirements

    SYSTEM REQUIREMENTSMINIMUM PC REQUIREMENTS

    Windows 2000/XP
    1.4GHz Processor
    256MB RAM
    8X CD-ROM Drive
    3GB Hard Disk Space
32MB ATi Radeon 7500 or nVidia GeForce2 MX Class Video Card
    DirectX compatible Sound CardDirectX 9.0c

i`m having the same problem before last Dec however when i tested it on my old rig with Geforce FX5500 now i see the problem its the graphic card i didn't even patch the game

to check your graphic card follow this steps

1.click START(location in your desktop at down-left corner of your screen the circle window icon) and you should see [Search program and files]

2.next input a word run and press enter , a small window well pop-up

3.next on that small window input a word dxdiag and press [OK] wait for few second and another window well pop-up its the DirectX Diagnostic Tool

4.next click [Display] tab now under the [Device] you'll see infos like NAME,MANUFACTURE,CHIP TYPE,etc..but identify whats under the "Name:" that should be your graphic cards name

and dont say Later just Do it as soon as possible if you want us to help you in fastest way and be more specific

however of this thing still can't fix your problem just Buy the game its should be 100% working Goodluck~
