steams not that bad, but i hate it when after downloading through steam, it requires steam to play the game!

According to STEAM, 99 Games ... but only 58 currently installed. :)

I have migrated over to STEAM for all my games.
I like the fact no disc is needed for older games and also, the large majority of Steam games come DRM free.
Or rather no extra DRM other than Steamworks.

For me, Id rather not have multiple types of DRM on my machine.

While this may be the case for most of the games distributed through Steam, its not always the case. But it does tell you if theres 3rd party DRM, so a particular game can be avoided if you so choose.

I too like a physical copy of a game but I just make a backup of the game using STEAM, and then burn it to a DVD.
It makes reinstalling games fairly quick and easy, without having to re-download it.

The best thing about Steam is the SALEs, of course! You get great deals almost every week, and on holidays there is even more! No cd case, no cd's and no printing and shipping. So its only natural that the games are cheap. Aside from that, i also love the fact that i won't be troubled with a scratched cd when installing a game for a second or third time. And its even better that my game is always up-to-date, and that i have a community and support forums just in case of any problems. Even if the publishers or developers don't give me support, i have the ppl on the forum. Also its really great to communicate with your friends via steam platform. You can see what your friends are playing, you can join their online games, chat with them etc.

The only thing that i hate is not being able to sell my games. But everything else, i love !
    Cheers:)

OK I've just counted and re-counted and the grand total is 0 (NIL, ZIP, NONE AT ALL)

I could count the built in games in Win7 if you like
