Your favorite game so far?

I really can't choose one so I'll list a few of my all time favorites that I can play over and over again and never tire of them (no particular order):

Hitman (Series)
SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition
Splinter Cell (Series)
Need For Speed ProStreet
Super Mario 64
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Super Mario Sunshine
Star Wars Rogue Squadron (Series)
Star Wars Episode I Racer
Star Wars Shadows of the Empire

There are others but if I had to pick just one, I'd give the nod to Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed just because although I do genuinely like some of the games in this list better than this one, this particular game was the one that really sparked my interest in learning about cars. I'm also aware I don't have too many newer series on this list; it's mainly because most newer games I've seen haven't really sparked my interest.

Yes, the Witcher is one to be listed here, that game is great. Cannot wait for the second one.

Don't wish to flame, but The Witcher 2 is gonna PWN Dragon Age 2.... Stupid BioWare.

I guess I can "cheat" and say that COD2 is my personal favorite in the FPS genre :P

So, favorite RPG: Dungeon Siege 2
Favorite sandbox: The Saboteur (!!!)
RTS: yuck, I'm too stupid to play RTSs
Everything else: ouch, hmmm... Thief III ~Deady Shadows~

It doesn't matter what will "Pwn" what, as long as they make a good game. Dragon Age was superb and I hope The Witcher 2 will be too.

Ah, I thought you mean "Dragon Age: Origins" was terrible. I'm not sure about 2nd Dragon Age, but I await it.

Bioware makes great games, I see no reason to hate them.

Bioshock 1/2 and Alan Wake.

The way Alan Wake was set up, as kind of a mix between a Stephen King book and Twin Peaks, is amazing. The two girls I live with get mad at me if I don't play it every night. lol
